The client’s brief was simple and direct — to design a home that reflects their personality while carrying a sense of calm throughout. This clarity became the foundation of the design process. Rather than introducing complexity, the approach focused on restraint, balance, and material honesty, allowing the spaces to evolve naturally from the client’s way of living.

Concept note - This residence is conceived as a quiet dialogue between materiality, proportion and lived experience. Rather than relying on visual excess, the design focuses on restraint — allowing brick, wood, stone and fabric to define the spatial narrative.

The exposed brick surfaces establish a strong architectural backbone, grounding the home in warmth and permanence. Against this, soft furnishings and curated artefacts introduce tactile contrast, ensuring the spaces remain intimate and humane. Transitions between rooms are treated as moments of pause — framed views, filtered light, and subtle thresholds create a layered spatial journey.
