Tantavāsa | तन्तवास - The Textile Studio

This Textile Studio was one of the most exciting project in 2025. A canvas where we could play with every element from scratch. It was an unused terrace which we converted to client's office. Designing Architecture and Interiors together gave us a freedom to blend the essence of the space well defining the spatial characteristics well.  The planning strategy focuses on layering and permeability. Central communal zones are anchored by custom-built surfaces that function as both furniture and architecture. These islands act as gathering points while maintaining openness and visual connection across the space. 

This project explores the idea of quiet richness, where spatial generosity is expressed not through excess, but through restraint, proportion and tactile depth. The design moves away from overt ornamentation and instead celebrates form, material and light as primary storytellers. The overarching intent was to create an environment that feels grounded yet contemporary, where architecture softens into experience. Curves replace sharp transitions, and arches become both structural and emotional thresholds—guiding movement, framing views, and slowing down the pace of interaction within the space.
